Liking this so far, I think the 'ping ping' would had been fine by itself, it's at the edge of the glasses and gave the implied hint something was happening on that side.

A bit nitpicking but the wearer should already be educated to the meaning of the sound or light so a follow on worded warning isn't neccsary or could be a distraction if engaged with an armed combatant.

It's good work you fitted so many characters in the background almost if it's a mural, and samus looks like she just about had enough of it! I do think her neck has turned a bit too much that it would be an uncomfortable pose. It is great though no doubt about that.
